Four-star hotel near Southampton gets new head chef

THE four-star Macdonald Botley Park Hotel, Golf & Spa near Southampton, has a new head chef.
Robert Quehan, 32, will work with a team of six responsible for the hotel’s AA rosette fine dining Winchester Restaurant and catering for events in the conference and banqueting suites.
He joins the hotel after spending five years running his own restaurant, the AA two rosette Chesil Rectory, in Winchester.
Previously he has held various positions in renowned London restaurants such as The Ivy and the Dorchester Hotel, as well as a spell with Conran.
