Winchester shop manager accused of theft from employer

THE manager of a Winchester city centre shop has appeared in court accused of theft against her employer.
Jane Brider, 46, is accused of defrauding Clarks of £6,250 between April 1 and August 30, last year.
Brider is also accused of stealing £100 and Mary Portas and Clarks shoes, value unknown, from the store on the High Street.
She denied the charges when she appeared at Andover Magistrates’ Court.
Brider, of Friars Croft, Calmore, near Totton, was remanded on unconditional bail to until March 22.
