Castle hails 'biggest win' of snooker career

ENGLAND international Billy Castle rated his remarkable semi-final victory in the EASB Pro-Ticket Tour fifth leg as the “biggest win of my career”.

Trailing by 50 points with 75 on in the seventh-frame decider at Hazel Grove Snooker Centre, Stockport, Castle clawed back the deficit to stun rankings leader Gary Wilson, who had reached all four previous finals.

“There were six reds left and I was in all sorts of trouble,” admitted the 19-year-old from Marchwood.
