KABIR Ali played his part in a shock Bangladesh Premier League victory to keep alive his side’s hopes of a semi-final place.
The Hampshire seamer claimed the scalp of Herschelle Gibbs before finishing with one for 42 as BPL leaders Khulna Royal Bengals made 161-7 in Chittagong.
With Barisal Burners needing 27 from the last 16 balls, Kabir joined rookie left-hander Mominul Haque in the middle.
The pair completed a four-wicket win with three balls to spare, Kabir finishing unbeaten on 12.
